Dr. Kneeland Youngblood: Physician, businessman, and presidential appointee to Bill Clinton.
Dr. Kneeland Youngblood, was born in Texas. He attended Princeton University, earning his B.A. degree in political science in 1978. While at Princeton, Youngblood spent a Semester Abroad in 1977 at Warnborough College in Oxford, England.
Youngblood sits on many boards including GAP, Burger King, and Starwood Hotels. He has served as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He is a founding partner of Pharos Capital which oversees over 800 million dollars a year, making him one of the most influential black private equity managers in America.
Born to an optometrist and medical technologist, Youngblood has overcome poverty, discrimination and even expulsion from Princeton (protesting his school’s investments in apartheid South Africa) to become extremely successful. He is an inspiration to all those who believe they can go far.
