Hon. Dr. Linda M. Wilde is a retired Superior court judge from California in the United States. She holds a juris doctorate, a masters in international relations, as well as a PhD in art history from Warnborough College, Ireland. Linda’s dissertation on “The Origins and Iconography of the Mission San Diego’s Mystic Marriage of St. Catherine arose out of her work as the curator of the Mission San Diego’s museum.
She is currently writing a book on Florence, Italy. Linda is also a liturgical artist whose paintings adorn a basilica in the United States, the private chapel of Cardinal Monteresi at the Vatican, the Pontifical Colegio Filipino Vaticano in Rome, and other churches in California. Her secular paintings have also hung at the Masterworks Museum of Bermudian art in Bermuda, where she has taught egg tempera and botanical watercolor illustration to the islanders.
She has presented at Warnborough College’s Conference on the Arts and is also on the Board of Trustees of Warnborough College.
