Dr Ian Cooper is a lecturer in Chemistry and Physics at Taylor’s College, University of Sydney. He gained a PhD in Epidemiology at Warnborough College, with his groundbreaking Parkinsons Disease research.
His thesis was entitled “Parkinsonism in Australia” and was in Ian’s words ‘a study of a range of illnesses that displayed similar symptoms and which responded to similar treatment’.
Parkinsonism (as defined by the NHS) is a term to include a broader term, used to describe ‘used to describe the symptoms of tremors, muscle rigidity and slowness of movement.’
Ian kindly wrote a review of his research during his time doing his doctorate and how Warnborough helped him to reach his aims.
