32nd anniversary in Washington DC (2020)

Early March 2020 saw two alumni meetups in the USA, specifically in Washington, DC and New York City.

Washington, DC

On March 1st, alumni gathered at the Smith Penn Quarter restaurant in Washington, DC for a lunch gathering. Among the key attendees were a group of alumni from our Study Abroad programmes 32 years ago. There were also PhD graduates representing a much newer era for Warnborough.

New York City

On March 6th, a smaller and more intimate meetup was held at Bistro Les Amis in Manhattan, New York. Again, it brought together alumni and friends of Warnborough for a very engaging dinner.

The wonderful thing about both events was the camaraderie and joy of (re)connecting – for some who were distance learners, it was the first time they had been to a Warnborough event, and the first time they had met anyone from Warnborough.

Food and service were excellent at both places, and a big thank you to those who helped with suggesting these locations.

We are looking forward to having more meetups around the world, especially in the line-up to our 50th anniversary in 2023.
